MEET MARTINA

Born in Slovakia, She immigrated to the U.S. at 22 and has called South Florida home for over a decade. With 10+ years of experience at top venues like 1 Hotel, Swan, and Mila Lounge, She has mastered crafting unique moments, anticipating guests’ needs, and delivering white-glove service.

Every event she creates is designed to feel effortless, intimate, and extraordinary. Her goal is simple: To make every guest to be fully present, to savor each moment, and to celebrate life together in a way that feels truly special.

Maza Events started with my own birthday — just me, a friend, and a desire to create something more intimate, grounding, and meaningful for our friends to enjoy. We set up a picnic on the beach, posted it on social media, and suddenly people were curious.

With no office, no car (and more than a few Uber drivers refusing sandy setups!), I built Maza from a tiny studio apartment I shared with a roommate and a dog — relying solely on my own resources and word of mouth.

The truth is, I had always wanted to start a business but often doubted my own capabilities. During that first picnic, I realized — this is it.

This is what I love. Spending quality time with my favorite people. And then it hit me: everyone deserves to experience this!

Was it hard? Absolutely. Was it worth it? ABSOeffingLUTELY!

Four years later, what began as a passion project has grown into something I never imagined — and I’m so grateful to now help others celebrate their most unforgettable milestones.
